Terms & Conditions

1.  These terms & conditions must be signed by the client and on behalf of the Hotel, to confirm the details of the function in question, as agreed by both parties.

2.  The guaranteed number of attendees must be confirmed to the Conference & Banqueting Office no less than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the function. The minimum charge payable is based on the numbers confirmed. If these are below the minimum numbers then the minimum will be charged.

3.  The client will take every precaution not to damage property of the company. The client will be responsible for any such damage caused to the property during the event by the client, guests, employees, contractors, agents or any other persons under their control. The client will ensure that nothing is fixed to the floors, walls or ceilings, (by nail, screws, tape, drawing pins or any other means) unless agreed in writing by the hotel. Damaged caused to Hotel property in such an instance may be charged to the client.

4.  Final Payment – The final account must be settled 24 hours prior to the function, unless the company has credit previously arranged with the hotel.

5.  Credit Facilities may be available, subject to prior approval. Application for credit facilities must be made 8 weeks prior to the event date. Credit terms are strictly 30 days from the date of departure.

6.  Unless prior arrangements are made with the hotel, we are unable to assume any responsibility for damage or loss of any articles left in the hotel before, during or after the function.

7.  Once paid the deposit is non-refundable. Where there is a cancellation of all or part of a confirmed booking, and the hotel has been unable to re-let the space, the hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation charge at a percentage of the estimated bill. Percentages payable are as follows; 3 months’ notice – 25% of full price of original facilities booked will be charged 2 months’ notice - 50% of full price of original facilities booked will be charged 1 month’s notice - 75% of full price of original facilities booked will be charged 2 weeks’ notice - 100% of full price of original facilities booked will be charged

The hotel reserves the right to request an initial deposit which is payable on return of the contract duly signed for and on behalf of the client.
